David Tavcar :RIP? Relics of the future.

A subject that doesn’t seem precious in the present may turn out to be precious in the future.
My project a research on the 153 plant species from the central european space that may be gone extinct in the near future. The most possible listed reasons for that are environmental changes in the combination with the human ignorance. Since the listed species may not appear to have a commercial value at the moment nor are they a crucial part in the European food chain, may their extinction seem irrelevant in the present, however it may show as a catastrophic step back in a 35 years time.

In order to be able to see the whole content of the project the viewer has to cut the book apart with a knife, causing an irreversible action that symbolises the infinite extinction of the listed plants.
